چکیده

The q-deformed commutation relation aa ? qa a = 1 1 for the harmonic os-cillator is considered with q 2 ?1; 1]. An explicit representation generalizing the Bargmann representation of analytic functions on the complex plane is constructed. In this representation the distribution of a + a in the vacuum state is explicitly calculated. This distribution is to be regarded as the natural q-deformation of the Gaussian.

Irreducibility and Compositeness in q-Deformed Harmonic Oscillator Algebras

q-Deformed harmonic oscillator algebra for real and root of unity values of the deformation parameter is discussed by using an extension of the number concept proposed by Gauss, namely the Q-numbers. A study of the reducibility of the Fock space representation which explores the properties of the Gauss polynomials is presented. When the deformation parameter is a root of unity, an interesting r...

Translation surfaces according to a new frame

In this paper we studied the translation surfaces according to a new frame called q-frame in three dimensional Euclidean space. The curvatures of the translation surface are obtained in terms of q-frame curvatures. Finally some special cases are investigated for these surfaces.

q-Probability: I. Basic Discrete Distributions

q-analogs of classical formulae go back to Euler, q-binomial coefficients were defined by Gauss, and q-hypergeometric series were found by E. Heine in 1846. The q-analysis was developed by F. Jackson at the beginning of the 20th century, and the modern point of view subsumes most of the old developments into the subjects of Quantum Groups and Combinational Enumeration. The general philosophy of...

Quantitative analysis of thermo-mechanical behavior in 414 stainless steel using flow curves and processing maps

The hot deformation behavior of a typical martensitic stainless steel containing 2.1% Ni was investigated by means of the compression test in the strain rate range of 0.001-1 s-1 and temperature range of 950-1150 °C. The flow behavior of the steel was evaluated using the flow stress curves and flow softening map and by microstructural investigation. Taking into account of the strain effect on t...
